Statement of Faith

We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of His children, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death (Matthew 5:48; Genesis 1:1; Hebrews 11:3; Nehemiah 9:6; Hebrews 1:2-3; Psalm 103:19; Ephesians 1:11; 1 Kings 8:27; Psalm 90:2).

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God, and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Acts 17:11; Isaiah 8:20).

We believe in the Trinity, one God in three Persons, consisting of Father, Son Jesus, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, to convince the world of righteousness, and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ (John 15:26; John 16:8-11; Romans 6:3-6; 1 Corinthians 12:13; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:1-3).

We Believe Jesus Christ is Divine God who came from Heaven to mankind as a man, yet retaining the Divinity of God, and who while living a sinless life was rejected and betrayed by man to be crucified and die on the cross, yet not to remain dead but to resurrect the third day in accordance with His Everlasting Divine life (Luke 2:8-14; John 19:23, Matthew 27:26; Mark 16:6; Acts 4:10; 1 Corinthians 15:4).

We believe that the death of Jesus on the cross provided complete atonement for all the sins of the world, therefore cleansing those who choose to be cleansed from their sin to then receive the Holy Spirit, and by receiving the Holy Spirit becoming "Born Again," and being Born Again becoming children of God. Children in the family of God and as children in a personal relationship with their Father who is God above all, and as children also inheritors in the Heavenly Kingdom of Jesus, the kingdom that is without end (John 5:30, 14:6, 14:24. 17:3; Hebrews 5:1-8; 1 John 2:2; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 3:1-36; Romans 6:23) .

We believe that Jesus is the judge of all of mankind's thoughts, intentions, and actions and that He is just and wise in His judgment. As judge, Jesus will judge those who have rejected Him, and those who love, follow Him (John 12:48; Acts 10:42; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Romans 8:1, 14:10-12; Hebrews 9:27).

We believe Jesus physically rose from the dead, was seen by and interacted with many eyewitnesses including the Disciples and Apostles, and that Jesus has now ascended back into Heaven where He originally came from. Jesus is currently seated in Majesty, Power, and Authority alongside the Father, and He is now accessible to us in both Prayer and Fellowship (Matthew 20:18-19, 28:1-8, 16-20; John 20:17; Mark 16:9-19, Luke 24:17-18, 30-32, 36-45, 50-53).

We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that all human beings are sinners by choice (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:15-17; Romans 3:10-12, 23).

We believe that every human being has responsibility to God alone in all matters of faith. Therefore, to all His children is confirmed an affirmation of their free choice given to His children by God (Romans 14:11-12).

We believe God’s desire is that worship be our genuine, passionate, and Spirit-filled response to Him.  We were created to give Him glory, and we should worship Him with our whole lives (Isaiah 43:5-7; Psalm 51:15-17; Romans 12:1).

We believe prayer is essential to our spiritual and physical strength, both as individuals and as loving Christ followers.

We believe nothing is impossible with God and He wants us to ask all things in faith and trust (Ephesians 6:18).
